It was enjoyable reading Larry Wartel comments when posted on Prudential website, a mix of New York accent and broker’s abrasiveness when impatient with the markets was filtering through his writing .
The last time I read his post, he was with Prudential and after a dull session he recommended that the last one leaving the building be the one to « switch the light off »
His commentary was a daily highlight during my time at Pru. Met him a couple of times. He was a very nice guy who always had time for you. He’ll be missed.
What a good and decent man Larry appeared. He made his mark and made the world a better place. The Peace of Christ to his family during the these difficult days.
Mr. Wachtell was not one of the reasons I haven’t had the sound on the CNBC network for years now. RIP, ‘Larry.’ Condolences to his family. ~mw
