@WorldBeta – click the small boxes on the top line to switch between one of 3 “background” color schemes … more suggestions welcome
@Tim – cool, interesting that stock junkies appear to be our first group of “addicts” – lots of bloggers in the investing space jumping on board … see newsflashr’s about page for some neat reviews from fellow traders
BTW don’t forget to click the “back to topics view” button to view newsflashr’s “hot news topic” cloud – for each category, it updates every 15 mins

BAD COLORS!
Popularity and Peer Group Acceptance are laudable goals if you share the same worldview as those you are popular with. Otherwise, they’re just watching you as a contrarian indicator for trading. Wall street groupthink is synonymous with the worst kind of herd instinct. Looking at charts of profit outlook irrespective of whether a corporation makes killing machines or cancer cures or high powered perception management is what has put this country down the shitter. We need a house cleaning in the worst way. Ossification has set in to our behavior to the point that resistance to change (remember your business administration courses?) has become THE Hallmark of our society. When a society becomes brittle, it breaks easily. No amount of lawn champagne parties in the Hamptons will erase the revulsion that has set in against the used car salesman mentality of Wall Street. I recently read that sharks are being decimated in the oceans because of overfishing. See, even sharks can be in trouble.
I like your stuff a lot, Barry, but I’m seeing a tendency toward more and more self-referential posts which detracts from your basic work.
My best regards.

I use Google reader. It aggregates the feeds I desire into a simple list.
I can share articles I want on my blog with a Google widget.
Most importantly, it’s readable with my phone. Normally unreadable blogs such as CR are made easy to read.
TBP has always worked on my phone, even without Google Reader – thank you.
This is how I follow your site:

They have Tim Sykes’ blog in the same vicinity as yours? Unconscionable
There was a bug in the “Topics View”, that he just fixed — the link for blogs under business wasn’t displayed.
