I would have added a few: Zebrahead’s amusing metal version Spice Girl’s Wannabe, I’d substitute K D Lang’s magisterial version of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah (far superior to the overrated Jeff Buckley’s take IMO), Neil Nathan’s acoustic version of ELO’s Do Ya (from Californication 2 Soundtrack, Dawn Landes hidden track of Tom Petty’s I Won’t Back Down, and the unexpectedly beautiful version of the Cure’s Just Like Heaven, by Katie Melua.
