This week on our Masters in Business radio podcast, we speak with Liz Ann Sonders, Chief Market Strategist for Charles Schwab.
Early in her career, Sonders worked for the legendary Marty Zweig, where she learned the importance of sentiment analysis. She also had a front seat to the 1987 crash, accurately forecast by Zweig. Sonders was also a guest host for Wall Street Week, substituting for Louis Rukeyser.
At Schwab, she is part of a team that custodies over $2.52 trillion in client assets. Liz describes her current job as “Reading Writing Speaking.”

i was @ schwab (we, they all called him chuck, i was only there for a year b4 layoffs) when chuck swallowed USTrust. i’m sure the UST people hated being w/ a “discount broker. kinda surprised she’s still there. first on the net, schwab had a bigger market cap than Merrill at the time or just before that. lots of average schwabbies made good coins w/ stock plans, options.
