In this week’s “Masters in Business” podcast, we chat with Gianni Kovacevic, a venture capital investor and energy expert. He is the founder of CO2 Master Solutions Partnership, and author of My Electrician Drives a Porsche?: Investing in the Rise of the New Spending Class.
Kovacevic just drove a Tesla cross country – from Toronto, to Boston on to Florida, then straight across country to the Tesla factory in California. (He called his promotion of My Electrician Drives a Porsche “the first zero emissions book tour.”) He describes himself as a “realistic environmentalist” and we discuss what that means from a practical perspective.
Our conversation about Tesla and the cross-country drive was fascinating. If you are a fan Teslas, travel by automobile, alt energy, or just someone who is interested in cars, there’s a lot in this discussion for you.
The radio broadcasts all weekend on Bloomberg and SiriuxXM, at Friday at 9pm, Saturdays at 10am, 6pm, and 11pm, and Sundays at 3am. You can hear the full interview, including the podcast extras, by downloading the podcast at iTunes, SoundCloud or Bloomberg. All of our earlier podcasts are at iTunes, Soundcloud and Bloomberg.
Next week, we sit down with Danny Kahneman, behavioral & cognitive psychologist, author of Thinking Fast & Slow, and winner of the 2002 Nobel prize for economics.
