Last week, I referenced an article — “Need a New Barometer for Stocks? Try the Price of Oil” — which discussed Oil prices as a leading directional indicator for the stock market.

As a side note, I resent having to pay for on-line versions for a paper I subscribe to. I subscribe to Barron’s, and for an annual fee, I have access to all of their articles. I wish the NYT would do the same . . .
