Greenberg to Marketwatch

One of the very best investigative financial reporters in the business is returning to public view: Herb Greenberg is starting at CBS Marketwatch, beginning April 12th.

Herb was at The Street.com for 6 years, where he was one of the premier names on the site. He was moved to the site’s premium product Real Money.com, which cost $225 a year. But in a move that may have frustrated the widely read columnist, his articles got moved exclusively to the super premium Street Insight, which cost several $1000 per year, and had a rather limited readership.

CBS MarketWatch gets over 9 million page views per month.

When I used to contribute to TheStreet.com, I spoke (or exchanged emails) with Herb on occasion. (he’s quoted me once or twice).

I am totally stoked to be able to read Herb again; He’s one of the best.

Be sure to check him out on April 12th.

I agree. I was bummed when he moved to RM Premium, and considered unsubscribing to RM. My subscription is up for renewal soon, and I’m not sure I will.
