That noted, I would bet this would skew about the same if age instead: Younger-Older rather than Blue-Red.
Damn, the Republicans have some big balls. That’s a lot of TV watching. My personal anecdote somewhat matches the evidence presented since I admit to going out of my way to watch The Daily Show and the Colbert Report…… on my computer. I’m also retired and never miss an opportunity to vote.

You’re correct about the ‘burbs and the country…but the trailer parks in the Illinois counties in my area skew Democratic.
Fox with their “islamic terrorist have taken over the white house” message certainly have managed to scare their voters to show up on election day. That in contrast to Dems where a substantial number are staying home because “it makes not difference, since they are not going to give me every imaginable change that I could dream off”. Fear is clearly a much stronger motivator than hope.
