This week on our Masters in Business radio podcast, we speak with Leslie Gelb, President Emeritus, Council on Foreign Relations.
Gelb’s set of accomplishments are astonishing. He directed the project that created the Pentagon Papers, won recognition and the highest civilian awards at both Department of Defense and The State Department. When he finished in government he became a NYT foreign affairs reporter, eventually winning the Pulitzer prize for explanatory journalism for his coverage of the Strategic Defense Initiative.
He is the author of numerous books, and ran Council on Foreign Relations for a decade.
Listen to the show live on Bloomberg Radio. The full podcast will be available soon after on iTunes, SoundCloud and on Bloomberg. Earlier podcasts can be found on iTunes and at BloombergView.com.
Excellent interview Barry. I am really liking this MiB series. Some good, reasoned souls you are finding.
Great interview, but your geographical intuition is somewhat off: Iran is situated about as well for solar energy as the US: it stretches from about as far north as NYC to as far south as Miami. Not equatorial or tropical.
