I previously mentioned that on November 15th in NYC, we’re hosting the first ever Evidence Based Investing conference with our partners at IMN.
We keep adding spectacular new speakers at a rapid pace. (Last announcement, I mentioned Bill McNabb, CEO of Vanguard, Jim Chanos of Kynikos Associates, and Charlie Ellis of Greenwich Associates).
Today, I am thrilled to let you know that my friend Savita Subramanian, the Equity & Quant Strategist at Merrill Lynch, will be giving a keynote speech.
Regular readers know I am a big fan of her work (See this, this, this, this, etc.) Her work is outstanding, and pulls in a wealth of data and analytical tools.
Her approach to thinking about markets and investing fits in perfectly with the basic idea of the conference: What happens when we eliminate all of the noise, heuristics, myths, and false beliefs about investing? What is left is proven data, factors that have been demonstrated to work, actual investing ideas with a proven track record of success.
We have an early list of confirmed speakers, with a terrific list of topics and panels. This is shaping up to be a must-attend for all institutional investors looking to improve their investment decision-making process.
My colleagues Josh Brown and Ben Carlson will also be speaking, as will I.
Check back for updates as to the latest speakers to confirm their appearance. Find out more here.
